Meet the Designers

Introducing Julie:

Julie Hendren Burke is founder and co-principal of Baldwin Burke Interiors. Julie and Sarah grew up together in Duxbury, Massachusetts, and Julie now resides with her family in the place Vogue has called “New England’s best kept secret.”

For her family and her clients, Julie adores mixing formal spaces with family function—a nod to the perfectly preserved Federal architecture and laid back beach vibe of the place she calls home. Bright, colorful and cohesive, Julie creates comfortable, unfussy spaces that are meant to evolve alongside their owners into refined, living heirlooms.

For seven years, Julie worked as a visual merchandiser, buyer and account manager for Boston-based Wayfair, digging up accessible, beautiful finds with a special focus on furniture, storage and organization. Visiting furniture and home good trade shows is where she discovered her dream of owning an Interior Design business to create beautiful homes for families to live in.

Introducing Sarah:

Sarah Baldwin Annicelli is founder and co-principal of Baldwin Burke Interiors. Sarah draws project inspiration from her time living in some of America’s most iconic coastal destinations. From Lake Forest and Charleston, South Carolina, to Vineyard Sound and Beacon Hill, Sarah understands that classic taste comes in many forms. Mixing existing traditional pieces and art with bold pattern and color—what results is a home that feels elevated and beautiful, while still true to your personal aesthetic.

Majoring in Art History and Studio Art, Sarah has been part of numerous residential and commercial design teams along the East Coast. As a Knoll furniture dealer in Boston’s Seaport District, Sarah’s team installed timeless modern pieces in a number of high-profile projects. As a buyer for Charleston’s G&G Mercantile, Sarah curated “High South” lifestyle products for clients across the country.
